EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Discover the WDSF Education Programme, a pioneering initiative designed to empower our National Member Bodies (NMBs) with access to high-level educational resources across various disciplines within DanceSport. Developed by the WDSF Membership Commission, this
programme offers NMBs the opportunity to elevate their educational offerings, fostering growth and excellence in DanceSport on a global scale.
NOC TOOLKIT
WDSF NOC CANOC Toolkit
The dynamic and captivating discipline of DanceSport has grown significantly in the global sporting landscape, evolving from a niche recreational activity to an internationally recognized sport. Despite its inclusion in various international events and its growing appeal, many regions, including countries within the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC), remain underrepresented in the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF). This lack of representation limits the accessibility and opportunities for athletes, coaches, and communities to engage with DanceSport as a structured sport with pathways for development and international competition.
The project "Development of DanceSport in CANOC Countries: Toolkit for Non-WDSF Represented Regions" seeks to bridge this gap by supporting National Olympic Committees (NOCs) in understanding and integrating DanceSport within their strategic priorities. By leveraging Olympic Solidarity and WDSF education Programmes and creating pathways for WDSF affiliation, this initiative aims to empower CANOC countries to establish robust National Member Bodies (NMBs) and foster the sport's growth at both grassroots and competitive levels.
This project not only aligns with the global vision of expanding access to sport but also enhances cultural exchange and diversity through DanceSport, containing a number of disciplines that combine athleticism, artistry, and inclusivity. By equipping NOCs with the necessary resources and frameworks, the project aspires to create sustainable opportunities for DanceSport development across the CANOC region.

LIBRE DE BAILAR PROJECT
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of three editions of the "Libre de Bailar" project in Latin America. This initiative was carried out online and was proudly promoted and organized by NMB Peru, in collaboration with all NMB affiliates across the region.
The primary objective of the project was to provide valuable learning opportunities for individuals passionate about DanceSport in Latin America. Through the collective efforts of NMB Peru and its dedicated partners, free online training sessions were offered to all NMB members in the region. These training sessions aimed to enhance skills, foster growth, and promote the overall development of DanceSport.
One notable aspect of the "Libre de Bailar" project was the collaboration with distinguished speakers who graciously shared their expertise. These renowned experts volunteered their time and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of DanceSport in Latin America. Their selfless commitment has been instrumental in creating a vibrant learning environment and fostering a sense of community among NMB members.
As we reflect on the success of these three editions, we extend our gratitude to NMB Peru, all participating NMB affiliates, and the esteemed speakers who have played a crucial role in making this project a reality. The "Libre de Bailar" project stands as
a testament to the power of collaboration and the dedication of the DanceSport community in Latin America. We look forward to continued initiatives that promote education, skill development, and the flourishing of DanceSport in the region
